Yaris Show Off 2011

Toyota kembali menggelar ajang tahunan bergengsinya dalam tema "Yaris Show Off 2011" tahun ini merupakan ajang yang ke 5 kalinya secara berturu-turut yang digelar di Indonesia. Event Yaris Show Off 2011 ini digelar di 10 kota besar di Indoensia, yaitu : Medan, Pekanbaru, Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Jogjakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, Makassar dan Manado. Dalam ajang Yaris Show Off 2011 ini memperebutkan hadiah total Rp 1.2 miliar, dan hadiah utamanya adalah satu unit Toyota Yaris serta jalan-jalan ke Tokyo Auto Salon. Adanya lomba kelas baru Rising Star menjadikan ajang Yaris Show Off 2011 ada perbedaan dengan tahun-tahun sebelumnya dimana dalam ajang kali ini juga dibagi menjadi 2 region, yaitu region Barat dan Timur.

Ajang Yaris Show Off 2011 di Semarang digelar di Paragon Mall dari tanggal 7 hingga 9 Oktober 2011 diisi dengan kegiatan Akustik Band Groovy, dance show modification contest, temporary tatto, SIM (surat ijin mejeng), Nasmoco gogodance, Rapper Show, lomba nge-Blog dan Yaris Baris atau Konvoi Komunitas Yaris memutari kota Semarang yang mengambil start dari halaman parkir Paragon Mall menuju rute jalan Pemuda, jalan Pahlawan, jalan Mataram hingga kembali ke Paragon Mall, dan penampilan RAN juga ikut memeriahkan event Yaris Show 2011 kali ini.

Press Conference Yaris Show Off 2011 dengan mengundang beberapa wartawan dari berbagai media dan juga beberapa teman dari komunitas Blogger Loenpia yang ikut meliput event ini. Dalam press conferennya bapak Patrianto selaku tuan rumah penyelenggara ivent Yaris Show Off 2011 ini menjelaskan bahwa inti dari event ini adalah kumpul-kumpul sambil berlomba kreativitas mendesain mobil sebagus mobil, dimana pemenangnya akan dilombakan sampai di Jakarta sebagai grand final, di Semarang sendiri jumlah peserta lomba modifikasi mobil melonjak hingga Paragon mall hanya mampu menampung 17 mobil di dalam dari 24 yang mendaftar. Di Jogja sendiri peserta yang mendaftar lebih dari 30 unit mobil. Event Yaris Show 2011 di Semarang juga menggelar acara cuci mobil dan makan gratis bagi para pengguna Yaris. Memang Yaris telah membidik kalangan muda sebagai pangsa pasarnya, dan event yang digelar oleh Yaris sendiri bertujuan lebih memasyarakatkan produk-produknya yang mudah dimodifikasi.
